2025 Hall of Fame Inductees

Jasper, GA – The Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, Inc. (CAAG) is proud to announce the 2025 inductees into the CAAG Hall of Fame, honoring four outstanding individuals for their exceptional contributions to Georgia’s HVAC industry. The inductees were celebrated at a special banquet held in Athens, GA on the evening of April 4th, 2025, alongside their families, colleagues, and friends.
This year’s honorees include:
Jack Tysor of Douglasville, GA, Former President of Anchor Heating & Air Conditioning. A dedicated leader in the HVAC community, Mr. Tysor served for many years on the CAAG Board of Directors and is a two-time CAAG Contractor of the Year recipient.
Barry Abernathy of Marietta, GA, Former President of E. Smith Heating & Air Co. Mr. Abernathy served as CAAG President from 2004 to 2005 and has twice been named CAAG Contractor of the Year, recognizing his enduring impact on the profession.
Steve Blakeney of Kennesaw, GA, Former President of Controlled Climate. Mr. Blakeney led CAAG as President from 2010 to 2011 and is a past recipient of the prestigious Contractor of the Year award, known for his innovation and leadership in the field.
The late Wayne Raper, formerly of Conyers, GA, Former President of MGM Products. A longtime CAAG board member and influential figure in the supply side of the industry, Mr. Raper was honored posthumously for his many contributions, including being named CAAG Supplier of the Year.
“These four individuals exemplify the excellence, service, and commitment that define the HVAC profession in Georgia,” said CAAG Executive Director Tucker Green. “Their leadership, innovation, and tireless dedication have not only strengthened their own companies but elevated the entire industry across our state.”
Since 1980, CAAG has served as the statewide trade association representing Georgia’s licensed HVAC professionals, promoting professionalism, education, and industry advancement.
